01 / Context
What this project is about.
Abyss is built on expression, atmosphere and presence. Its digital presence therefore needed to do more than list information: it had to convey the artistic approach from the very first scroll.
The existing material combines bold typography, dark imagery, audio samples, project examples, press responses and impressions. This preview shows how they become one connected visitor journey.
02 / Challenge
Clarity across many requirements.
Many different types of content had to come together on one page without losing their emotional impact. Audio samples and references also needed to remain easy to reach.
The design could be distinctive, but needed enough visual calm to keep individual projects and voices from getting lost in the effects.
The guiding question.
How can an artist's website first create an atmosphere, then guide visitors purposefully towards projects, audio samples and contact?
03 / Solution
A structure with a distinct point of view.
A linear, cinematic page journey takes visitors from positioning through projects and audio to press responses and contact. Large headlines set the tone, while clear sections provide direction.
Dark surfaces, contrasting imagery and carefully placed accents hold the presentation together. The content remains modular so new performances, projects or responses can be added.
